Java Developer

ID Fusion is looking for a strong Java Developer for an exciting long-term project in the financial sector.  We are supporting a high performance matching engine tightly coupled with a sophisticated credit engine application and if you are a talented, motivated self starter with a passion for learning, this is for you.

Are you excited about writing real-time optimized java code? Do you want to work on technology used by some of the largest financial institutions in the world?  If so, we should meet.

Compensation includes a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Travel will be required on a quarterly basis (3 to 4 times / yr).

Work location is currently Winnipeg, but we may entertain remote work arrangements if the situation merits.

Skills & Requirements

Requirements
• Solid experience with Core Java, J2SE, and Object-oriented development
• Swing development in an enterprise environment or equivalent experience
• IDEA or Eclipse experience
• Hands-on experience on relational database (DB2 or Oracle)
• Hands-on experience of product deployment on AIX, Linux, Windows
• Undergraduate or better degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field

Preferred
• Domain knowledge in the Financial Services Sector
• User Interface design
• Complex systems experience
• Real-time coding experience

Major Pluses
• Any examples of your work that includes source code
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
